Dave Rachel, PT, DPT

I have been a Physical Therapist for 22 years with most of that time spent in out patient orthopedic settings.  I graduated in 1987 from Texas Tech University and have worked my entire therapy career in El Paso.  I have owned my own place once before and have worked for several large groups including large national organizations as well as several one man situations.  I was the director of therapies in a small rehab hospital at one time about 15 years ago.  I am currently finishing a DPT program with Arizona School of Health Sciences and hope to have this done this summer.

With Border Therapy Services I was the initial employee/owner to begin our business and have been on the job every day for the almost 9 years we have been open.  As an officer, I am the Secretary of our Corporation.  For BTS, I am the Clinical Director and as such it is my responsibility to see that we follow all the rules governing therapy in the state of Texas.  I oversee all matters concerning staffing and scheduling if there are problems and the clinic managers report to me per the organization chart.  All clinic licensure, insurance plans and University training contracts go through me for signature and I am the Clinic Coordinator of Student Education.
