Efren Herrera, Staff PT
Efren attended the University of Texas at El Paso where he completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Biology in and his Master’s in Physical Therapy in 2009.
He has worked at Border Therapy since 2009 and specializes in treating the athletic population and amputees.
Efren is married with a son. In his spare time, Efren likes to spending time with his family and play softball and golf on the weekends.
John Justin Soy, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist. Doctor of Physical Therapy. (PT, DPT)
Justin completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from University of Texas – Rio Grande Valley in 2013 and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in from University of Texas at El Paso. He is pursuing his GCS specialty.
Justin started working for Border Therapy in 2017. He specializes in geriatrics and general orthopedics.
In his spare time, Justin enjoys lifting weights, hiking, basketball, movies and the Dallas Cowboys
Christa A. Bringas Lopez
Christa attended the University of Texas at El Paso for undergraduate school and completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a minor in Biology in 2001. She obtained her Master in Physical Therapy in 2006 at UTEP.
Christa began working at Border Therapy in 2008 and is currently the clinic manager at the Hondo Pass clinic location in North East El Paso.
Christa is McKenzie Certified in parts A and B for treating disorders of the spine. She enjoys treating patients with shoulder issues specially those who need post operative rehab.
Christa married in October 2014. In her spare time, Christa enjoys running and participating in marathons and obstacle course racing like the Spartan Trifecta, which she completed in 2014. She also enjoys lifting weights, yoga, traveling, going to the movies, being active in church and spending time with her family and friends.
Eric Trujillo, Staff PT, Cert MDT
Eric has been working at Border Therapy since 2015. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology in 2008 from UTEP and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2012 from Southwest Baptist University in 2012. He has been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) since 2009.
Eric specializes in orthopaedic conditions, preferably the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine, followed by shoulders and knees. He completed vestibular training and has completed McKenzie parts A-D. He is scheduled for his certification exam in October 2015.
Eric has been married for 2+ years and has no children. He enjoys lifting weights, running, hiking and playing basketball. He volunteers at church and is involved in the church choir.
