Mark Boncser, Physical Therapist/Provider Relations

Mark has been the owner of Border Therapy Services since 2000. He has a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center, which he completed in 1990 and an Advanced Master’s of Applied Science in Manipulative Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia from 1995. He has also been an Orthopedic Certified Clinical Specialist since 2003 and a member of the Fellow of the American Academy of Manual Physical Therapist since 2001.

Mark specializes in manual physical therapy, orthopedics, and functional dry needling level 1.

Mark has been married for 24 years and two kids. His hobbies include golfing, doing what his wife, Gloria, tells him to do and cheering his kids on in life. Mark is also involved in Boy Scouts. Lastly, he is a Christian and attends the Sun City Calvary Chapel.

Travis Magden, Clinical Manager, Staff PT

Travis has been working at Border Therapy since July of 2009 and is the clinic manager at our Redd Road location. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2006 from the University of Texas at El Paso and later a Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2009 from Texas State University-San Marcos. Travis wants to work on becoming McKenzie Certified. In fact, he already has part A completed.

Travis specializes in treating athletes as well as the spine.

Travis has been married since August of 2012. He likes to work out, occasionally go running, train for the Spartan Obstacle Course Race and hang out with his wife and two dogs, which he considers as his kids.

Eric Trujillo, Staff PT, Cert MDT

Eric has been working at Border Therapy since 2015. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology in 2008 from UTEP and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2012 from Southwest Baptist University in 2012. He has been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) since 2009. Eric specializes in orthopaedic conditions, preferably the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine, followed by shoulders and knees. He completed vestibular training and has completed McKenzie parts A-D. He is scheduled for his certification exam in October 2015. Eric has been married for 2+ years and has no children. He enjoys lifting weights, running, hiking and playing basketball. He volunteers at church and is involved in the church choir.

Dominic Rascon, PTA

Dominic Rascon attended El Paso Community College and received his Associates in Applied Sciences for Physical Therapist Assistant in May of 2017. He also graduated in December of 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology from San Francisco State University. Dominic started working at Border Therapy Services in July of 2017 and he enjoys working with young athletes as well as post-surgical patients. Dominic enjoys outdoor activities, live music and sporting events. He is also a home brewer who loves the fun of experimenting when he can. He is happily married with a beautiful baby girl. He is a San Francisco 49ers fan, and he enjoys watching whatever games he can on television.
