George Nunez

George Nunez, PT, DPT, Clinic Director

George began working at Border Therapy Services in February 2018. He graduated from UTEP with a Bachelors in Kinesiology and a minor in Biological Sciences in December of 2014. In December 2017, George graduated with his Doctor of Physical Therapy from UTEP. George dedicates half of his case load to general orthopedic patients and half to neurologically impaired patients. He is LSVT/BIG certified, which is a specialized treatment approach for treating patients with Parkinson’s disease. George earned a Dry Needling Level 1 certification from Master Dry Needling in 2019. He is also pursuing a Neuro-IFRAH certification to help treat patients status post stroke. On the Neuro side, George enjoys treating patients who suffer from Parkinson’s Disease and dizziness (BPPV). He also enjoys treating post-op patients and patients who have shoulder, knee and low back injuries. In his spare time, George enjoys working out, traveling, spending time with his family, and watching/playing football, basketball and baseball. Some of his favorite teams include the Vikings, Yankees and the Thunder.
